We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Microsoft Intune Engineering Team. On the Intune team, you will be at the forefront of developing solutions for device management, security, and modern workplace experiences. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

    OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and running cloud services at high scale and availability, to help user computing going thru digital transformation.
  • End-to-end ownership of scenarios and features along with the opportunity to have significant impact and to hone your system design skills while working on the latest technologies in Cloud computing.
  • Leading the architectural design of complex software systems, considering customer needs and ensuring user-centric solutions that prioritize usability and satisfaction.
  • Conducting code reviews with a focus on delivering a seamless customer experience, while ensuring compliance with coding standards and industry regulations that safeguard user data and privacy.
  • Problem solving challenging technical issues with an understanding of customer requirements, proposing solutions that enhance the overall user experience and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Taking ownership of key development projects with a customer-first approach, ensuring that the software aligns with business goals, timelines, and user expectations, and effectively managing technical risks to deliver solutions that resonate with users.
